What if this were a rhetorical question?
Who I'd like to meet? yer mom, if I haven't already. ;-)
Seriously speaking, I'd be willing to talk to anyone willing to share and tell me their story as long as they're not some creep, and I'll be the judge of that. Anyone interested in engaging in an intelligent or scientific debate perhaps? Who knows. Challenge me.
And then there's my former best friends that I dedicate these to because of the relationships and what we've been through, I don't think I'll ever give up on them even after time and time again.
I spread the truth that you don’t want to hear…
and from the very start, every word, and I was there.
I fucking loved you and I fucking cared,
so just remember who turned their back.
And where I’m still right here.

Other people that I've gotten close enough to over years to call my true friends as well that certainly deserve at the very least an honorable mention: Sarina Redondo & family, Lori Gates & family, Kristin Shave & family, Jenna Kennett & family, Jared Iorillo & family, Tasha Rothlisberger & family, Steve Castles & family, Jessica Mizopalko & family, The DiStaulos, Theresa Kamm & family, Peter Perea & family, Richie Brown & family, Louis Torinese & family, Chris Thieme, Grant Jones, Jesse Traynor, Sho Gun [3rd World Hustle], Joe Delucia, Andy Drag, Justin Florio, Devinee Wood & family, Rocky & Sal Buttiglieri & family, Tim Conheeny & family, Kyle Gertner & family, Steve Theburge & family, Mike Stone [Maniak; EVER; FYMK] & family, Mike Caputo, Jillybean, Stephanie, Nicole, Mickey, Ruben, Lucas, Bradford, Alex Morrow, Jim Blair, David Schenk, Mike Giambatista & family, Connor Robertson, Chris Swick & family, JJ Schultz & family, Paul Mastrolia, Butch Comer, Bill Domboski, Nigel Griffith, Adam Dietrich, Trude & family, and the list continues to grow. You've each made a very significant difference in my life and I thank you in one way or another! You've all been there for me at points in my life whether they be good, bad, sober, inebriated, or in-between. Each and every one of you were always there to listen and to help and there's not one time that I ever walked away without feeling better or without a smile on my face because of you. I'm very lucky to have found such wonderful friends because it's rare that people even find a handful! I love and cherish all of yer friendships. You all are true blessings in my life and I am forever grateful.
People of the past I hope and pray for everyday; God help yer souls! Thanks for always being there for me. Without those people I wouldn't be where I am or who I am today because they've taught me the most important things in life<3
"The last thing that I want to do right now
is scream one more line about the words that fall
from your mouth landing somewhere just short of my feet.
Some long, sad, boring list of let downs
that I have talked about a thousand times before
some *spark* I thought I saw in you,
needed to see in you,
wished I could see in you
but was just a damn bluff.
I threw away aces and you showed me deuces.
The key is having the guts to raise with the second highest hand.
I have spent so much time folding bad cards and eating my words.
I’ve said some awful things to some real good people
that now I no longer have a problem admitting when I am wrong,
and can just sit back and wait for the next deal to come.
And if the worst thing in my life is long-ass rides and hug filled good-byes,
and I can still be mystified by pretty smiles, crushes and mix tapes,
then I guess things really aren’t so bad.
And I have never known much about silver linings,
but I can look around this van and see five faces that breath life into me.
Kings full of jacks,
splash my chips across the table.
Take my shot,
I’m all in."

Lastly, here's to Sean D'Antoni and Matt Lyttle: Even though we may not be friends now, I will always love and care about you boys. There will always be a place in my heart for you two and you will never be forgotten. You have truly touched my heart and soul and made a positive difference in my life. And I thank you for trying because in the shortest amount of time you made the biggest difference.
“Here you stand seething with guilt.
Silence only justifies this act of cowardice.
The look stapled on your face cries out for forgiveness,
the one thing that I cannot give.
Did you ever see that one person
and the way they do these things
and it hurts you so much it's like choking choking…choking
I can give you freedom from your guilt,
with a flick of my wrist onto yours.
I can give you peace of mind with a forced smile.
I can give you death with the look upon my face.
This is your freedom in a life of fallacy,
with no last kiss & no regrets;
you don't deserve good bye.
This is your freedom in a life of fallacy,
with no last kiss & no good bye.
Here you stand seething with guilt.
Silence only justifies this act of cowardice.
With a short story, the one you add to daily, you are the tragic loss.
No story book ending for this fairy tale of you.
Just the one composed with blood taken from your pen that you hold in your lifeless hand.
Cry for you. Shed tears. Mourn. Wish the end.
Cry for you. Shed tears. Mourn. Wish the end.
I wish the end. I wish the end. I wish the end.
Did you ever look, did you ever see that one person,
and the subtle way that they do these things and it hurts so much?
So much like it's choking down the embers of a great place.
It's that moment when your eyes seem to spread aspersions
and to scream confessions at the insipid sky parting clouds.
You let this one person come down on the most perfect moment.
And it breaks my heart to know the only reason you are here now is a reminder of what I'll never have…I'll never have…I'll never...
Standing so close knowing that it kills me to breathe you in,
standing so close knowing that it kills me to breathe you in.
But this table for one has become bearable.
I now take comfort in this, and for this, I cherish you.
Did you ever look, did you ever see that one person
and the subtle way that they do these things and it hurts so much?
So much like it’s choking down the embers of a great place.
It's that moment when your eyes seem to spread aspersions
and to scream confessions at the insipid sky parting clouds.
And you let this one person come down, come down.
I cherish you, I cherish you.
Just say that you would do the same for me.
Just say you would do the same for me…just say you would do the same…just say you would do the same for me.
For as much as I love Autumn,
I'm giving myself to Ashes.
So who do I really want to meet?
