In early 2008, the worn streets and venues of Isla Vista spawned Thee Utopians. Thee Utopians is a band-collective whose cast of players transforms every performance depending on who's there to play along. A consistent player, song and dance man Jameson Freethy conceptualizes Thee Utopians as "musical anarachy. Any one can come play with us. We to hear your voice and to make music with you. We love noise. Thee Utopians is total musical freedom and invites everyone to join us for collaborating, jamming, or to join forces in any kind of creativity."
