About Me

"To each there comes a time in their lifetime a special moment when they are figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to their own talents. What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour"..........Raised on a small island in the Caribbean, Antigua,(1982-1993), I always had a passion for performance. As a teenager, I spent my nights racing and working on cars on the island, which also included building custom stereo's in many of the local buses and taxi's. That passion progressed into racing and building import cars when I moved to the U.S. in 1993. I took a job with Circuit City and did car audio / installation for 10 years with them. Over the years I have found myself involved in almost every make and model, however, my specialty is with Nissan's, more specifically, the SR20DET /RB26DETT /RB25DET engine series. I bought a 1995 240sx in late '99 and did a red top SR20DET into it. It was definitely the talk of the town back then. I spent weekends at the local hang-outs and eventually started doing the motor swaps and engine builds for all the local guys. This eventually got out and I was wiring SR's in all types of cars. I have written technical articles for several magazines including HCI Magazine, where I was labeled "Professor Baker". Following that, I was technical editor for C16 Magazine. I have been involved in the building of 2 SEMA cars and also provided the wiring services for Glenngineering in Tampa,FL. on a pair of 240sx's for "Team Hogan Drift", that were seen on the TV show "Hogan Knows Best". I have also been involved with NOPI as a judge for the JDM class at the NOPI Nationals in Atlanta,Ga. and also judged the NOPI/YAHOO EVO build-off at SEMA in Las Vegas as seen on Spike TV. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 beautiful children together. I stay pretty busy but always make time for family and friends. Thanks to all my current and past customers for your support.
