Becky has been singing since she could talk...She took classical voice lessons for many years throughout high school and got her first taste of playing the guitar at age 14. However, she didn't actually start playing the guitar seriously until 2006. She bought her first Taylor guitar in January of 2006 and found out she had a love not only for playing guitar but writing songs as well. In fact, she released her debut album June 1, 2008 titled "Shine Down On Me". When writing songs, Becky, like most artists, pulls from her personal experiences. One of those experiences was being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in January, 1996 while attending college. She was then put on disability in 1998 which was the same year she graduated with 2 degrees. One in Psychology and one in Police Science. "I never saw my life taking such a drastic turn, but having MS has actually been a blessing. It has allowed me to pursue music", she says. Becky has been fortunate enough to work with some really talented musicians since 2005. She started out with the trio, "Happenstance" and went solo in 2007 with her solo debut being at Stumpjack Coffee Company. She's worked with so many wonderful musicians that it's too hard to list how many have truly helped her hone her craft! Performing quickly became her first love! She still plays at Stumpjack monthly along with other small venues around Wisconsin. Becky says, "I like the feel of small venues, it gives me a chance to interact with the audience. I'm not saying I wouldn't want to play for sold-out stadiums, because I certainly would, but I take what I can get! I'm not picky! As long as I'm playing music, I'm happy!"I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts! Myspace Graphics
