Artist's United For Progress is a Non-for-Profit Organization geared toward supporting local artists and their careers. Founded in 2007, our vision and mission is to cultivate, develop, and support local artists who don't have access to radio and major marketing dollars. Our goal is to bridge the gap between local and national artists. We have a dream that one day our organization will be able to provide support to local artist's from the creative stage through the distribution and marketing stage.With local artist's many times starting out with very small budgets, we hope to fundraise and donate proceeds to supplement these acts with the tools that are needed to make any project successful. Marketing, legal representation, publicity, booking agents, street teams, marketing materials, business support, ect.We are fed up with the lack of support available to local artists, so we have taken a stand to ensure up and coming artists won't have to face what many of our local pioneers fell victim to. We want to create an industry in the Chicago market and create a unified front to tackle issues that effect our community, our rights as local musicians, and our financial futures---we owe it to the future of Hip-Hop to create an organization ran by local artists for local artists.I hope Chicago is ready-- I hope the world is ready to see what we can accomplish if we work together!
