The Knutsens

About Me

The Knutsens

are an indie/rock/punk/electro band based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, performing original catchy songs to sing and dance to.

"Rock energy coexisting with bittersweet manifestos of life, ambition, love; keyboard electronics, rumbling groove-funk bass lines and thunderous rhythms brought back in with upbeat panache"

- Newcastle Evening Chronicle

"Puts me in mind of Primal Scream or late-period Stone Roses"

- The Crack Magazine

"A mix of indie-rock influences, all high pedigree. But importantly, they excite me. I can see this band being great"

- Narc Magazine, Demo of the Month, January 2009
