Crombez est un nom de famille propre d'origine wallonne qui signifie «crochu».
Jadis,.....Crombez est finalement formé en janvier 2008.
Le mini-album Crombez a été enregistré en octobre 2008 au studio Audio Z avec le réalisateur Alexandre Wang-Legentil et a été masterisé par Pascal Shefteshy.
Sur son premier opus, l’instrumentation unique de Crombez fusionne les subtilités et la puissance associées aux orchestres symphoniques tel qu’entendu dans «l’Aquarium» à l’énergie d’une formation rock dans la pièce «Quand». L’alliage du trombone, du violon, du piano et de la guitare acoustique, au trio rock conventionnel crée une sonorité riche, organique et envoûtante.Crombez offre une musique perplexe et souple qui croque sous le tympan. Sans gras-trans ou sucre ajouté, Crombez se digère bien en ventre, et calme efficacement la congestion et les nausées causées par le fromage ou le bonbon.

Crombez is a wallon's name which means crooked.
For years the young singer-song writer, Emmanuel Crombez, dreamed of one day being able to combine the sensual and powerful sounds of symphonic orchestra with rock to make a popular and timeless type of music. While studying music (classical singing) at the University of Montreal, Emmanuel is currently living his dream as he has brought together the young musicians who make up the french-speaking group today. Crombez was officially founded in January of 2008.
Crombez's Ep was recorded in October 2008 at Studio Audio Z with the help of director Alexandre Wang-Legentil. Pascal Shefteshy took care of the old fashion style mastering.
Crombez’s first opus blends the subtle and powerful sounds of a symphonic orchestra (track l’Aquarium) with the energy of rock music (track Quand). The poignant melodies in the song Mollusques draw listeners into a dream like state. The beautiful fusion of trombone, violin, piano and acoustic guitar with the sounds of conventional rock music creates a rich, raw and captivating sound. Crombez offers perplexing and flexible music which crunches under the tympanum. Trans-fat free and unsweetened, Crombez is easily digested in belly, and effectively calms congestion and nausea caused by cheese or candy.
