PRICE FOR RECORDING - As you know, everything costs money, including blank CDs. when you record, we will give you a blank CD with your recording on it for free, but if you would like a large amount, we'll have to charge extra.

Dead In Suburbia Records is a D.I.Y. label started by Jason Failure and Richard Loser of the band Suburban Losers.
D.I.S. was previously available to record and distribute anything by any band who wanted to record and get some music out, but unfortunately money issues has prevented us from ever completing that goal.
BRSo, as of now, D.I.S. is back in business, but because of our lack of money, the only thing we can do at this time is record a demo, an E.P. or a Full Length of your band. Once we raise enough money, we will be able to start distributing.
D.I.S. uses a recording method in which we hook up one microphone to a computer and have your band play live in our studio(which is just a basement). We have found out through testing that to get the best balanced sound, we put the mic on a mic stand in the middle of the room and have the vocalist sing into it while the band plays live around him/her. Also, instrument levels are determined by how loud your amps are and drum volume can not be changed. Samples of the way our recordings have turned out are on the D.I.S. music player.
We have the drums, bass, and bass amp provided for you, but as of now you must bring a guitar and guitar amp. Though if you would like to use your own instruments and amps, don't hesitate to bring them. (reminder: this is a live basement recording, so the sound quality of your instruments and equipment is what will appear on your recording)

As of now, we CAN NOT come to you for recording since all we have is a desktop computer, when we finally get a laptop, then we can come to you. You MUST contact Rich or Jason to discuss what day you can record since work schedules and band practice make it hard for us to have free days. If your requested day does not fall on a free day, we can always work something out.
