About Me

___I was born at an early age in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia in the USA and now live in Stockholm, Sweden. Rhythm has always been fun for me since I learned to play hambone as a kid. I bought my first set of congas/bongos/hand percussion in 1972. Today I play cajón-congas, cajón-bongos, LP compact bongos, djembes, kalimba, hand percussion, mouth harp, kazoo, panflute, keyboard and various unusual instruments. I'm starting to write, compose and arrange songs and I also sing some lead & back vocals and enjoy harmonic overtone and throat singing. Experimenting with sound and new blends are great fun. I consider my strongest side to be my improvisational abilities with my hand drums plus a wider array of interesting tones on the Valter Percussion drums I love to play. ____________________________________________________________ __Played recently at: Stampen with Brian Kramer & Nights of blu-topia; Stampen open-stage; Peru Day at KTH with Tawa Inkari; Berns - Soulmates with St Sebastian & Pablo 100 Hundar; BAR122 with Swedish reggae band Rumprytm; Stampen with Unkool Hillbillies (rock-a-billy!) & Tor Pentén; Tango Charly @ Fridhemsplan with DJs; Roslagen with Chippa & Isabella; Blåkullen tower in Solna with Malin to fantastic electronic music; Årsta Torg plaza with Tor Pentén; Hammarby Rodd near Gullmarsplan with hard rock band Pilotos, reggae band Slag från hjärtat and then DJs. Don't be surprised to see me on the street during the summer or jamming with friends on a park bench or a bus stop!

Climb to the top...

Climb to the crest of the tree, to the very top, that's where the most magnificent view is. It's also a good place to find your way home. Just be sure that every limb you climb on is alive and strong ...
