The Terminator - Trailer
In 2029, machines control the world, bent on the extermination of mankind, and they have sent back someone from the future to May 12, 1984. This mysterious musclebound man begins to hunt all of the Sarah Connors in the phone book, successfully killing two of the three listed. When he attempts to kill the last, he is stopped by another time traveler, Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn), sent back to protect her. While hiding in a parking garage, he explains to her that the man after her is actually a Terminator, a cyborg assassin. These Terminators were invented by Skynet, an artificially intelligent computer that, in the near future, takes over all military hardware and launches a nuclear war against humanity. John Connor, Sarah's son, leads a human resistance against the machines. In a last ditch effort, Skynet sent a Terminator back in time to kill Sarah before John is born, preventing the resistance from ever being founded, allowing the machines to win by default. John sends Reese back in time to protect her, allowing him to be born...
Terminator 2, the judgment day - Trailer
Ten years after Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) destroyed the original Terminator that was programmed to kill her, two men arrive in Los Angeles from the year 2029. The first is a Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) identical to the one that Sarah first encountered, while the second is an unknown man (Robert Patrick).John Connor (Edward Furlong) is now living with foster parents. He has grown up being told by his mother that he would someday lead the remnants of the human race to victory against the machines. Sarah's experiences have significantly changed who she is, making her tougher and more vigilant, but also more desperate to warn humanity about the threat of the future man vs. machine war revelations that lead authorities to commit her to a mental institution, Pescadero State Hospital...
Terminator 3, rise of the machines - Trailer
Due to the events shown in Terminator 2, Judgment Day did not occur as originally predicted. Still not believing that it was completely prevented, John Connor (Nick Stahl) is living "off-the-grid," in Los Angeles, California with no permanent residence, credit cards, or mobile phone, and is working freelance so he can't be tracked. Skynet sends another Terminator, the T-X (Kristanna Loken), back to July 24, 2004, Judgment Day, to kill the human resistance's future lieutenants, because Connor could not be located through any information databases. The T-X, later dubbed the "Terminatrix", is armed with a full arsenal of advanced weapons from the future, avoiding the restriction of non-living tissue by carrying them internally, including the ability to remotely control most machines. As before, a reprogrammed Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), identical to the Terminators from the previous films, has been sent back in time to protect Connor and his future wife, Katherine Brewster (Claire Danes). In a plot twist, this particular Terminator killed John Connor in 2032, before being reprogrammed and sent back in time by Connor's wife. After rescuing them from an initial attack, the Terminator leads them to Sarah Connor's coffin, which her friends filled with weapons in the event that Judgment Day was not prevented. The T-X and the police arrive, and the three narrowly escape in a hearse. After the destruction of Cyberdyne Systems in T2, the Air Force has taken over the Skynet project as part of its Cyber Research Systems division, headed by General Robert Brewster, Kate's father. In an attempt to stop the spread of a computer supervirus, they activate Skynet, allowing it to invade all of their systems. John, Kate, and the Terminator arrive just a few minutes too late to stop them. The T-1 terminators become self aware and start killing office personnel. Just before General Brewster dies, he tells John and Kate that the Skynet system core is in Crystal Peak, a base built into a mountain...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The Terminator

The Terminator is a 1984 science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Michael Biehn. It is the first work in the Terminator franchise. In the film, machines take over the world in the near future, directed by the artificially intelligent computer Skynet. With its sole mission to completely annihilate humanity, it develops cyborg assassins called terminators that look exactly like humans. A man named John Connor starts the Tech-Com resistance to defeat them and free humanity. With a human victory imminent, the machines' only choice is to send a terminator back in time to kill John's mother, Sarah, before he is born, preventing the resistance from ever being founded. With the fate of humanity at stake, John sends Kyle Reese back to protect his mother and ensure his own existence.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is the 1991 sequel to the original Terminator film, written, directed, and produced by James Cameron and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong, and Robert Patrick. After the machines failed to prevent John Connor from being born, they try again, this time attempting to kill him as a child with a more advanced terminator, the T-1000. As before, John sends back a protector for his younger self, a reprogrammed Terminator, identical to the one from the previous film. After ten years of preparing for the future war, Sarah decides to use the same tactics the machines used on her: prevent Skynet from being invented by destroying Cyberdyne before they create it.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is the 2003 sequel to the record breaking Terminator 2, directed by Jonathan Mostow and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Claire Danes, and Kristanna Loken. In a last attempt to ensure a machine victory, a new terminator, the T-X, is sent back to kill as many high ranking resistance officers as possible, including John Connor and his future wife Kate. After the future Connor is terminated by an identical model to his previous protector, Kate reprograms it and sends it back to save them both from the T-X.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is the upcoming 2009 fourth installment to the Terminator film series, written by David Campbell Wilson, John Brancato, and Michael Ferris, directed by McG,and starring Christian Bale as John Connor. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, and Claire Danes will not be returning.Shooting of the film is expected to start on April 21, 2008 in Budapest.
On May 9, 2007, it was announced that rights to the Terminator series had passed hands from producers Andrew G. Vajna and Mario Kassar to the Halcyon Company, a privately funded company formed by entrepreneurs Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson. In the Variety article detailing the purchase, it states the fourth film is now earmarked for a summer 2009 release and will focus on a 30-year old John Connor in what the producers hope will be a new trilogy. Series creator James Cameron is currently not involved with the project. Variety also mentioned that Warner Bros. has McG prepping the film.
On July 19, 2007, it was revealed that the Terminator 4 project is currently in legal limbo due to a lawsuit between MGM and Halcyon subsidiary T Asset. According to the article, MGM has an exclusive window of 30 days to negotiate for distribution of the Terminator films. When negotiating for Terminator 4, Halcyon rejected their initial proposal, and MGM suspended negotiations. After the 30 days were over, MGM claimed that the period during which negotiations were suspended did not count and their exclusive period is still open. Halcyon is now asking a court for an injunction allowing them to approach other distributors.
The plot and storyline of the film takes place after the events of T3 around 2014 and focuses mainly on the war between man and Skynet in the post-apocalyptic world. John Connor will continue to be the central character along with a new character named Marcus, who will have "equal presence." However, other sources say that the film will instead focus on Marcus. James Middleton, the associate producer of the film, stated that "It's really about the birth of a new hero."
