I am a retired USCG liscensed striped bass guide and professional striped bass angler with years of experience guiding and tournament fishing for striped bass on Claytor and Smith Mountain Lakes in Virginia and Lakes Cherokee and Norris in Tennessee. I have been successful in major striped bass tournaments throughout the southeastern US.I also love to trout fish and have taken numerous rainbows of over 7lbs. here in Virginia.I am well acquanted with marine electronics , automotive GPS and most all types of fishing tackle.I grew up on the New River in Virginia bass fishing and striper fishing with artificial lures. I also am an expert on catching and fishing live bait for trophy stripers. I am also acquanted with night fishing for stripers with artificial lures.I will be posting blogs about techniques for catching different species of fish , mainly striped bass and trout.I hope you find some information that will be useful to you in the future. I will try to answer any quetions about fishing that you may have.
