Hello everyone. My name is Joe. People call me Big Joe, Joey Rimjaw, or "that dickhead who is always in the pub" most of the time. I like to think that I am a nice person. Some people will disagree though.
I fucking LOVE Motorhead.
I spend most of my time playing guitar or in work. I'll admit, my job is awesome. I work in a residential home for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. They're really nice people. Unfortunately, I don't work there as much as I would like to which means I am nearly always short of cash and bored quite a lot too, but I can't seem to find a second job so meh, I'll just wait for the hours to go up until I go to uni. Speaking of which, i am going to John Moores university in February 2009 to study general adult nursing on a 3 year course, then hopefully doing a 1 year crossover course into mental health nursing. Not sure what I'll do after that. Maybe go for paramedics.
I currently play guitar in 2 bands, even though we never practise with one of them! I ply rhythm guitar and write most of the songs for Rimjaw, and I play rhythm guitar and do lead vocals for Nicely Lashed. I really enjoy the feeling of being on a stage and playing songs that I have written or helped to write in front of lots of people. The feeling is awesome!
My friends are fookin awesome! I wouldn't be the person I am today without them. The closest ones are John, Madz, Caitlyn, Eleri, Luke, Mark and Rawsy. Legendary guys, all of them.
I really enjoy drinking and getting pissed, but I don't really touch drugs any more. Apart from the occasional, very rare spliff. If you're ever trying to find me and I'm not at home, go to The Magazine, Peggy Gadfly's or the Swan. That is where you're most likely to find me.
