Over 10 years of making music and everything changes everyday!
I'm not interested in popular trends but I have my own visions what the best music is and sometimes it could be that a normal trend and my conceptions of music comes to the same point. With this I want to say that I'm not one of this mainstream guys but there is nothing in me that says it is impossible to make music which is typically mainstream.
As a drummer, I played in several groups and bands. From Rock & Roll over Hip-Hop to Black Metal there is nothing I never played. Fascinated by Jazz Drumming I've tried to combine Rock Drums with some Jazz rules. With the african drum style and the possibilitys trough Bongos & Congas I've began to play these things too.
But normal percussioning was not enough for me. So I started a project to combine african percussion basics with traditional Rock Drums together with Andreas Vornehm, one of my best friends and a great musician. Over four years we were playing together and began to make percussion Tracks with everything we could find. From chair rails to car roofs there was nothing we didn't play our own sound with.
After my time with this project and some local bands I started to play the drums for SECRET IN SANITY. Unfortunately that was the final time for this band and after almost a year the end for this group was coming. Finally in 2008 I found what I was searching for: A brand new band with new ideas and a lot of power! HIBERNIHILUM is the new home for me as a Black Metal Drummer and I found many new friends in this band. For me it is the possibility to make something new on the drums and show what the power of drumming could be.
As a DJ, I'm always interested in some good sound. As I said before: There is no rule who says that I have to make Trance, House or Hip-Hop. I try everything and combine various Genres. There is nothing I want to reach with this music except one: to let you feel what I feld as I wrote this song. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to realise every song coming out which is in my head and there are a lot of ideas I lost in the last years. But everytime I write a new one, I'm shure that this is perfect to show what I want to show.
I never was a normal DJ at a club or something like this. My music was always written for uncomercial reasons, so it would be impossible to tell a biography about this.
I hope you'll enjoy music the same way I do and perhaps there is a chance to make something new some day!
