About Me

I am a single mother of 4 awsome kids, Joe, Autumn, Jeffrey and Odin. I am alittle crazy, always late to everthing, and almost constantly in an annoyingly good mood. My totem animals are the bear, wolf, falcon, and crow. I am an active member in a Historical Recreation Group called the Kingdom of D'enes, in which I have a Viking persona. We attend and demonstrate boffer live action combat as well as period skills and crafts at the local Renassance Faires in the Ne, Ia, and Ks area. I pheasant hunt, fish, camp, hike and am studying Horticulture. In what spare time I have I sew garb, regalia, and banners for my hobbies. I read, write calligraphy, sing and tell tales of various natures. I garden indoors and out. I collect wolves, owls, dragons, fairies, gargoles and turtles. I have a passion for puzzles and paintings and have an intense dislike of stupidity.

My Interests

Wow! generally this is a loaded statement.. My interests range from normal stuff to not so normal, for instance I have a habit of collecting useless information and passing it on to others. Yes, Jokes, facts, just about anything. I am also interested in cultures of various natures.. Renaissance, Viking, Native American mostly. I want to be proficient in ASL but have no one to sign with so its going slow. I love music... probably my biggest passion. Anything but gangster rap crap I can handle.. opera, classical, industrial goth, to punk and techno.. I love it all..

I like lots of movies too.. my two favorites are Boon Dock Saints and Thirteenth Warrior.

Television:

I personally don't like watching much TV but on the rare chance that I do its the SciFi channel, Historical documentaries, or Who's Line is it.....

Books:

Even though it is tedious reading I LOVE Tolkien!! J.K. Rowling and the Harry Potter Series, Robert Jordans Wheel of Time, Terry Goodkind, George R.R. Martin, Dean Koonz, Robin Cooks, and David Farland just off the top of my head.

Heroes:

My sister, Julie. My kids, Joe, Autumn, Jeff, and Odin. Julia Butterfly Hill, for living in a tree and doing what I only wish I could do. Slam Poets in general for their words.
