Flix got into deejaying in the late nineties when he hung out with his homie Dirudi, who was into writing rap. As highschool kids they where broke most of the time, but somehow Flix managed to save some money to buy two cheap turntables and a mixer. Flix was spinning the beats, Dirudi dropped the rhymes.
Nowadays Flix spins mainly hiphop and reggae, but any style that's got soul has a place in his record crates. "You can not play the same stuff over and over" he says. "On a rainy Sunday afternoon, you 'd put somethin' smooth on, if you're spinning on a party, you play stuff that gets the people dancin''.
Besides music Felix also loves watching television, wasting time on Playstation, football and fine cookery. His favourite dish is a steak with potatoe chips and apple pie for dessert.
In May 2007 flix and his allies Lito'Man & Greenlight founded Boom Syndicat
a smashing soundsystem combining reggae and dancehall with hiphop & turntablism.
