Spades High was founded in the end of 2007. A passionate Spades found herself wanting to do more for the community of London, ON, CA. Noticing that the level of punk shows happening was dropping by a steady, crashing decline, she knew what she had to do. With nothing more than a pad of paper and pencil in her hand, she started forming a list of bands that needed, absolutely needed, to come to London. Already working for the Embassy Hotel as a bartender, she had her venue set down. Launching her first ever show in celebration of her birthday, she finally got a chance to find out what promoting was all about. Automatically she fell in love. As time went on, she became good friends with certain bands, and had contacts with others. Through doing this production company, she found herself doing the full calender booking/promotions for the Embassy Hotel as well and in turn, she began to broaden her horizons.

Upon this revelation, she teamed up with Sean from Just Another Punk Show @ CHRW, who hosts the 2 hour punk show every Friday night.
