5th Annual Nelsonville Music Festival

About Me

The 5th Annual Nelsonville Fest will take place the weekend of May 15-17, 2009 at Robbins Crossing on the campus of Hocking College!
Set in the beautiful rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio, the 5th Annual Nelsonville Fest is a three-day festival that celebrates music and local artistry of our region. We take pride in offering a warm, accepting environment where local artisans can sell and be recognized for their work, where local, regional and national musicians instill their awe-inspiring talents and festival goers can relax and enjoy the fruits of our regional flavor.
In 2005, the festival began and took place in the downtown Nelsonville Historic Arts District. The festival served to bring our community together to celebrate the revitalization of the Arts District with music and artisans. Year two and three were held in the field behind Rocky Boots. This one day event has evolved over the past three years to now encompass three days and a new location at the Historic Village of Robbins Crossing at Hocking College.
The festival is produced by Stuart’s Opera House which is the cornerstone of the historic Public Square in Nelsonville. Stuart’s Opera House is dedicated to its role as a regional leader in the arts community, a center for public expression, and an economic development partner for Southeastern Ohio. The Nelsonville Art & Music Festival is an extension of our strong belief that by celebrating music and art, we celebrate life.
