Steffen Nicolaisen

Steffen Nicolaisen Born May 31, 1969.Started playing guitar and wrighting songs at the age of 12. Formed his first band with Arild Steinsrud at the age of 13. In 1987 they formed "Nickels&Dimes" together with Nils Maehlum, and the band is still going strong! N&D have released 4 albums, and have been touring Europe and Norway for over two decades.Steffen is also wrighting songs with a bit more acoustic feel, that does`nt fit the N&D concept.It`s all about music, wether it`s heavy duty, raw guitar with a thundering bass/drum rock`n`roll song, or if it is a tender heartbreaking song about dark secrets in ones soul.....It`s all about music.So many great musicians have inspired Steffen over the years, and so many different styles too..The biggest inspiration have been, and allways will be Stevie Ray Vaughan, God bless his soul.Norway Feb.5.2008
