A Diverse background of musicians who have over 30 years of experience who love the music of Rush and have chosen to pay honor to them.
It all started a couple of years ago, when Scott was playing with a cover band who played some Rush tunes. Their drummer moved away and Scott decided to end that band. He decided to start a Rush tribute band. Phil was the first member to join the band Scott started. Then we found our guitarist Paul. Phil has gone to join Keith Moon and John Bonham and I am sure is jamming with them right now. Phil would have wanted us to carry on. And now we have a new Drummer, Ken.
Scott has been a bass player for 24 years who loves to play all kinds of Progressive Rock from the 60's, 70's and 80's. He also dabbles in writing some songs. He goofs off a lot too. Scott's ultimate wish is to meet Geddy Lee so that can ask Geddy to sign his name next John Entwistle's name on Scott's Rickenbacker Bass pickguard.
Paul has been a guitar player since he was 13 but really didn't get obsessive about it until he discovered Black Sabbath in college. He has played in numerous bands and is currently playing in Jacob's Ladder and Silent Resonance. He is also in Pfiesteria but they are on hiatus because the drummer had to move to Illinois.
Ken -- has been playing drums since he was 5 and now approaching 40 next May 24th. He has been playing professionally for 23 years. Ken has played in lots of bands... Peasants of the Apocolypse - Speed Limit - Excalibur - Strattitude - The Tide, Tin Moon - and most recently WHETSTONE. Most all were Rock / Classic Rock nothing too heavy with the exception of Peasants back in 85. He was the drummer for Hope Community Church for 10 yrs. until he moved further away from Cary. Ken has done a bit of recording in studios with different groups / back beats for some studio soloists etc...
