Downfall

Downfall formed in the Netherlands in a small town near Amsterdam in 2007. Vocalist Erik Lindeman decided with guitarist Arjan Greven to start a new band after the lack of inspiration in former bands. Former band members of Erik, Mark and Sander, joined the new formation and band appeared to be a source of inspiration. Eventually, Carlos was recruited to form Downfall.After a month, the first performances were booked and the finals of “Regionaal Kabaal” were reached. Half a year later Downfall performed at “Kaaspop” and won the audience award of “Rabo Real Live Contest”. After several gigs, experience is obtained and the positive reactions multiply. Downfall has the potential to grow.Strong guitar riffs and solos, a powerful voice and tight drums form the characteristics of Downfall. These characteristics are presented with lots of energy during giggs.
