Band Members: Ctrl_Alt_Dlt has smacked down upon Seattle a sick rain of slick Detroit techno, engulfing all who hear his minimal style in a barbarous fury of dance fever. With seemingly less effort than an eyebrow twitch he harnesses the fierce and undulating beats, the feral ebb and flow that is techno, and shoves it into your body and your brain. You continue your existence from this point only as a product of the illusion of control, for you are now in the DJ’s hands, teetering on the threshold between survival and soul explosion. A recent firestorm of techno-love has landed on Seattle, and all you need is the name ‘Ctrl_Alt_Dlt’ to bring dancers out to the party whether it is under a bridge, in a forest, or at a sweaty club at six in the morning. As a resident of Spy, Knight Riders, LiveNLove and a founding member of Seattle techno productions company Sweatbox, Ctrl_Alt_Dlt creates sets that not only expose the listeners’ minds to a complete surfing of intense highs and lows but also to the weirdest, most abstract sounds and textures out there. Wipe the drool off your chin kids, this is the DJ that techno built.

Pantycontrol (a.k.a. Jonathan Herrera) not only moves and shakes the Seattle techno community through his residencies in Knight Riders and From 0-1, he also injects a wicked enthusiasm into the dance floor with his vinyl-heavy sets of West Coast techno. Strongly influenced by a childhood spent in a home full of funk, soul, and disco records not to mention a bar, dance floor, and disco ball, pantycontrol was made to lay it down thick and is devoted only to groove, not genre. Originally a connoisseur of house music, pantycontrol has since tread deeply into the world of techno, and you will find the cofounder of the techno production company Sweatbox all over the city spinning dark and slippery tech-house to fluid, almost narcotic techno and everything in between. Ladies, hang on to your panties.
