About Me

I'm a saxophonist and composer from New Orleans, Louisiana. For those interested, I grew up in south Louisiana making music and was very fortunate early in my life to have been a student of Alvin Batiste & Ellis Marsalis and Chicago's Ed Peterson. I compose original music and play soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones as well as various keyboard instruments. I believe in the complete CREATIVE FREEDOM that's birthed from study, hard work and self-reflection, and the fruition of that work brought about through ACTION. Alvin Batiste taught me that. He used to say things like: 'You know why Charlie Parker could do that? Because he could!' That would blow my mind! He believed in people! So do I! Listen to my music, I hope you enjoy it, it's "LIVING MUSIC!!!""NEW SYMPHONICS FOR JEREMY"YOU CAN BUY THE CD AND/OR DONATE TO THIS PROJECT HERE !!!*If you are leaving a donation and you'd also like a CD please remember to leave your mailing address.BUY MY CD !!!!!!!!
