--Living HipHop since 1984--
AMBER197's carreer started back in 1984 with breakdancing to the tunes of the "Rocksteady Crew", "Grandmaster Flash", the "Coldcrush Brothers", "Herbie Hancock" and other legends of HipHop.
In 1987 he went over to graffiti and started writing a friend's name with small markers all over the neighbourhood until the first tries with a spraycan in 1988.
Next to intensive skateboarding during these times, tagging was the major thing until 1989 when he started copying the styles of local and international idols like "BOMBER", "KISM" and "ME" by taking pictures and studying their styles. Later on, the "On the run magazine" and "Subway Art" as well as "Spraycan Art" had been helpful to copy styles from "ZEBSTER", "SEEN", "POEM", "DERO", "T-KID", "ZEPHYR" and others.
When graffiti had it's major ignition in Germany in 1992 Amber197 also tuned up with own styles and some friends.
Until 2001 he had been influenced by movies like "Wild Style", "Beat Street" and "Style Wars", by hiphop jams like the "Spring Jam"(s) in Frankfurt/Germany, "Osterjam"(s) in Wuerzburg/Germany and the major "Wall Street Meeting"(s) in Wiesbaden/Germany and by writers like "BOMBER", "KENT", "DAIM", "SEEN", "ZEBSTER", "CAN TWO", "INKA", "ODEM", "ATOM", "ZEBSTER", "DARE" and many other major members of the scene.
From 2000 to 2005 Amber197 partly disregarded HipHop and turned to onlinegaming with "Unreal Tournament '99" by entering an english multiplayer clan until the foundation of "=*SNC*=", his own multiplayer-clan in 2001.
For four years Amber197 played as "4mB3r197" in national and international e-sport leagues, visited several network parties (LAN-parties) and carried out the fusion between the =*SNC*=-clan and =U@F= to found the "Insta Rockerz" (">iR][<").
Amber197 phased out of e-sports (Unreal Tournament and Call of Duty) and the clan-live in 2005.
From 2004 to 2007 he was partly active in VW motorsport (.:R32) and also helped organizing one of the major .:R32-events in Frankfurt/Germany or designed stickers and stuff for the drivers and community-members.
In 2008 Amber197 left all that behind him and returned to his true roots: HipHop.
So 2008 means a new start and again oldschool tunes sound in Amber197's various radios, keeping the times alive. :)
