Red Bank, NJ based Stigmatic has been turning a lot of heads since their inception. Formed by front man Dave Eric (vocals/guitars), Stigmatic came together in 2002. Dave went through a few line up changes until finally linking up with Tim Roche (guitars/backing vocals), Jake Metz (bass) and Tony Nistico (drums) and the band hasn't looked back since.In early 2004 they hit the studio with artist/producer One Track Mike of Little T and One Track Mike (Lava Records) to record a three-song demo that garnered the band much attention in and out of the industry. In early 2005 they headed back in the studio, once again with One Track Mike, to record their latest four-song EP. The newest album, which draws on several years of experience playing the Eastern seaboard, belies their flair for both driving guitar riffs and infectious hooks.To date, Stigmatic has had their music featured on several hit TV shows including MTV's Real World and Undressed, received airplay on radio stations from America to Japan and have been nominated for many Asbury Music Awards (the New Jersey music scene's answer to the Grammy's) including Best Live Act and Best Rock Act. They have performed in such legendary rooms as The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ and CBGB's in NYC and have shared the stage with numerous national touring acts including Sponge, Kill Hannah and Reach 454 just to name a few. NJCoast News writes, "They rank among the coolest players on the shore alternative scene today. They are our own personal pick at the Asbury Music Awards and will always be so hip."
