Well, I guess starting off by saying my name is Randy might be a touch redundant, but it is the polite way to start I think. I am a proud parent of my daughter Serafina. I wished I lived where I could see her everyday, but alas I do not. I have worked in theatre for much of my professional career, and switched to firefighting recently. I love my job and I love being a part of the community. I have never gotten more satisfaction from a job before. They say "some days your a hero, and some days your a zero". That is so very true. I still participate in theatre here locally, but my career has certainly left the field. While I was in theatre I did about everything possible backstage. My primary areas of focus were rigging and electrics. For the past 3+ years I was an aerial effects rigger/operator for Cathy Rigby's Peter Pan. I have also done lots of automation for handfuls of national tours. Electrics is where I started, and after heading a few shows I made my switch to rigging. Now as a firefighter, I seem to use many of my theatre skills every day. I hope and wish that everyone looks forward to going to work everyday like I do. I also love working outside. I think mother nature did a wonderful job, and it is ours to enjoy and love. I am also a big fan of inclement weather. There are few things better than a good thunderstorm, or heavy snow. I love exploring and learning new things! This is how I approach most everything in life. I love to laugh and smile. I like others smiling even more. My sense of humor might be a bit odd, but I cherish it. Humor can be found in most anything or situation. Please stay safe and remember to buckle up, otherwise you might see me or one of my brothers, and it won't be to taste the chili!!
