The bail business is pretty simple to explain. You get arrested you have the choice of staying in jail, or paying a fee to get out. Two types of payment are full cash or go through a bail bondsman and only pay 10%. The reason you wont want to pay full cash is because its very likely you won't get that back (after court costs and fees)
We also cost nothing to tax payers, since if the defendant skips court, we will arrest them, which would have created more work for the police if the defendants were let go on their own. We aren't cops, we only arrest people who skip court on us and run.
