I'm a semi-American, full blooded Chilean, white as wonderbread hispanic (filling out forms for "ethnicity" can be confusing). My passion is to be a follower of Christ...an endeavor whose truest mark of authenticity is the extent to which I love others without conditions. I wrestle with simply calling myself a "Christian" because of the amount of baggage that the title carries with it. As one of my hero's, Rob Bell, states, "Many people confuse God with religion and walk away from them both." But all that's another conversation in and of itself... Bottom line... life is meant to be lived in communinity, sharing life together in a manner that restores beauty to the ordinary.
