Altered Egos

What do you get when you mix the nostalgia of classic rock, the raw energies of punk, the fingerings of blues and funk, and the fun and lyricism of old school hip hop? Altered Egos.... Altered Egos is a hip hop group that originally consisited of two mc's, Mike Dunnit(Mike McAfee) and SueMe(Bret Hawkins), who created their music from the ground up with beats and production since '96. In '07 they connected with long time friend, drummer, and backbone of the band, Claudio Lagamba who brought an upbeat flavor with progressive punk and hard hitting rythmns to the already hot mixture.They then added virtuoso bassist Scott Queen who has been able to take the previous melodies and ideas and inject his vision, bringing Altered Egos to that next level.Between these four musicians they have definitely given a hip hop a breath of "FRESH" air.-
