My name is Ana, I'm a girl from Zaragoza, Spain who loves music, reading and sleeping. At this moment i'm working at a cinema (which means i've got several free tickets, haha!) and studying french and english. Music is all in my life, i couldn't go through the days without it. As the John Miles's song says:
"Music was my first love and it will be my last,
music of the future and music of the past.
To live without my music would be impossible to do
'cause in this world of troubles my music pulls me through."
I made this Flash Music Player at MyFlashFetish .com.
I was born listening to Pink Floyd, Status Quo and The Beatles thanks to my father who was always playing his LP's on sunday morning. I woke up with that music and i learnt to love it. That music is my first musical memories along with "The final countdown" by Europe and "The best", sung but the amazing Tina Turner; i even tried to imitate her!
When i was 5 or 6 my dad brought home a tape which said: "Queen". I gave it a listen and it hooked me on: that voice, that music.... A few years later i learnt that was the "Greatest Hits I" from Queen and the great Freddie was dead. (Actually, the first time i heard that tape, he was still alive.) In 1993 (i was 8), while listening to the radio, a song was played; it was called "Please forgive me". I didn't know who the singer was but i fell in love with that voice. I put a tape into my cassette recorder and everytime i heard that song, i was recording it. Finally, one day i saw the video and was able to put a face to that voice and that was the moment a found out who Bryan Adams was. I bought "So far so good" with my own money, which means this is the very first album bought by myself. Two years later, the cassette couldn't be listened because i played it so much that it burnt.
So this is the story of how i become a Bryan Adams' fan. However, this passion is diminishing. I don't like what Bryan's been doing lately, and that means the last 10 years. Even though i've seen him 8 times in concert, i don't enjoy his gigs anymore. The last time i saw him was in Rome, last march; I even yawned, something unbelievable if you have known me before. I hope Bryan returns to his roots because i don't think of myself as a BA's fan anymore. Yet, i'm still loving his old stuff.

I've been trying to find "my" new passion for the last two years or so, that musician/artist who has THAT something that makes me vibrate. After a hard time feeling confused (being such a music lover, i'm in need of feeling close to some kind of music/artist that speaks for me in some kind of way), i've finally found THAT something. It is Jeff Scott Soto. I saw him when he was a frontman for Journey and i couldn't believe my eyes. He was so good, a great performer, great singer.... So as soon as i got home, i sought everything i could find about him. You can read a lot about JSS if you click on the banner above (at the beggining of this "About me" section) or reading one of my blogs titled: "Jeff Scott Soto: An artist who deserves way more recognition". Now, i've already started to collect his albums. I really love his voice!! He sings his heart out, he's got one of the greatest voices i've ever heard. I can't wait to see him live again.
However, i must add i think nobody beats THE VOICE, the truly amazing one-in-a-million Steve Perry, he is GOD.

I love going to concerts but i think i'm a bit selective (or so my friends say... but it's because i don't like the music they like or better said: THEY DON'T like the same music as me). Gigs i've done: Bryan Adams (eight times), George Michael, Foreigner (man, that was awesome - a real pity Lou Gramm wasn't there), Journey (AMAZING!!!), Smashing Pumpkins, Status Quo, Whitesnake, Scorpions, WASP, Bunbury...... i'm sure there are a few more. I have to say my favourite type of music is AOR, i love it.
I'm still known for being a big Bryan Adams' fan. I'm always thinking of going to a concert or i'm wearing a t-shirt or i'm telling the experiences i've lived at his concerts.... Although if you have read the whole profile you can see that's changed. Anyway, i consider myself more a troobie than a baddie. My troob is Keith Scott, Bryan Adams' guitarist. He's the showman at Bry's gigs, he's awesome and a very nice and shy guy. My nicest memory: being in Alcázar de San Juan, i made a banner which said: "Happy belated birthday" because his birthday was the week before. I shown him and he smiled at me, put his hand on his chest (where the heart is) and "sent" me it. Awwww........

I went to Vancouver on summer 2005, it's such a perfect place! That was one of my biggest dreams come true. I had the time of my life so far and I would like to live there or somewhere far from where i am now. I really loved how many green spaces the city has. There are lot of things to do such as going and get through the Capilano Bridge, enjoy a day out at the Stanley Park and its aquarium, the Science World, night life at Granville Island, climbing Grouse Mountain......... You can take a ferry and go to Vancouver Island. I went to Victoria. All i can say is "beautiful!!!". Or you can do whalewatching and if you are lucky enough (as me) you can see lots of whales! Or if you want to see the Nature at its major splendour, just go to the Rocky Mountains and spend, al least, 4 days. You won't be the same after watching all that. Vancouverites are the nicest people i've ever met: polite, helpful, kind..... I'm in love with Vancouver, what can i say? Oh yes, one more thing. I saw for the first time in my life a shooting star while i was dining at Gastown. Perfection!!
