About Me

Natural de Buenos Aires, se forma en el Conservatorio Manuel de Falla de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, la Escuela de Música Popular del Sindicato Argentino de Músicos, Escuela de Música Contemporánea y el Coro de Jóvenes de Ana Grünwald.
Trabaja técnica vocal desde los 14 años junto a Mariana Albert, Laura Hatton (Buenos Aires 8), Eleonora Eubel (Creole Jazz Band), Daniela Basso, Ana Grünwald (Buenos Aires 8, Estudio Coral de Buenos Aires) y Judy Niemack (judyniemack.com).
Así mismo estudia piano con Fernando Pugliese, Nicolás Ortiz y la concertista Noemí Novara de Ojeda. Perfecciona sus conocimientos de improvisación de jazz junto a Joaquín Chacón y en la actualidad estudia en el Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco, Musikene.
Ha logrado el Tercer Premio en el Concurso de Grupos de Jazz del I Festival Internacional de Jazz de Fuenlabrada, y ha actuado entre otros en el Centro Cultural de la Villa de Madrid y en el Auditorio del Parque de la Constitución de Marbella.
Ha llevado a cabo una importante carrera como docente siendo profesora en las escuelas Marand Musical, Carmen Roche, El Almadén, Nuevas Músicas y American School of Madrid, y dirigiendo el coro vocacional del Centro Cultural Gruñidos Salvajes de Madrid.
En Buenos Aires ha actuado en el circuito de jazz de la ciudad y de la costa Atlántica, en el Primer Festival Under de Jazz, 101 Aniversario de Jorge Luis Borges, Muestra Tributo de Adolfo Pérez Célis en el Palais de Glace, Ciclo de Conciertos de los Jardines del Museo Nacional Fernández Blanco, entre otros.
Florencia Bègue (voice)
Born in Buenos Aires, she began her music studies in the Manuel de Falla Conservatory, the Popular Music School of the Musician..s Sindicate and in the Contemporary Music School created by Berklee graduates.
At the age of 14, she began vocal technique studies that lasted 8 years with: Mariana Albert, Laura Hatton (Buenos Aires 8), Eleonora Eubel (Creole Jazz Band) and with Ana Grünwald for four years (Estudio Coral de Buenos Aires - directed by Carlos López Puccio -, Buenos Aires 8 - famous arrangements of Piazzolla..s music). She has been also a member of her choir for three years.
In Buenos Aires she began singing publicly at the age of 19 in jazz clubs and in tours in the atlantic coast; other relevant concerts were: 1rts Under Jazz Festival, Birthday number 101th of the writer Jorge Luis Borges celebration, "Tributo" exposition of the artist Adolfo Pérez Célis in the Palais de Glace and one of the concerts in the gardens of the Fernández Blanco National Museum.
She attended piano lessons with Fernando Pugliese, Nicolás Ortiz and in Spain with classical concert pianist Noemí Novara de Ojeda. Also attended jazz improvisation lessons with guitarist Joaquín Chacón.
In Madrid, she won the 3rth price in the International Jazz Contest of Fuenlabrada and performed in concert in the Centro Cultural de la Villa. She has also performed in the Auditorio del Parque de la Constitución of Marbella (Andalucía, Spain).
Florence is currently studying in Musikene Music Conservatory (San Sebastian, Spain) with Judy Niemack as voice teacher.
