About Me

My Interests

Writing mostly, I'm gearing up for National Novel Writing Month again in November. Hopefully I can complete it for the second time.I spend a lot of time nowadays running around presentations and the like presenting or being involved with projects re: Gay Rights and supporting young people coming out which pretty much takes up my spare time. Then of course there's the socialising. I can be guaranteed to be found at a karaoke evening somewhere in Halifax singing Sweet Transvestite at a moment's notice.

I'd like to meet:

I'm quite happy to meet anyone, with all the work I've being doing lately with GALYIC and Out There: Take 2 I've gotten quite used to meeting a wide array of people so all are welcome.Famous people? Neil Gaiman, Dita Von Teese, Kate Mulgrew, Ian McKellen and Stephen Fry spring immediately to mind but there are probably more besides.View All Friends | View Blog | View Pics | Add Comment

Music:

I'll have to think about that one....I have a wide and varied music taste and it's almost impossible to pin down.I have music on my iPod ranging from musicals to Marilyn Manson and Opeth so try and pick some middle ground in there. I'm a firm believer that music has to fit the atmosphere, so I don't hate anything in particular, I just wouldn't listen to it at the moment in time.

Movies:

House of Flying Daggers, Howl's Moving Castle, The Matrix (of course), Priscilla, Down With Love. Those are the ones I could, and do, watch every few weeks.

Television:

I don't have much time for TV anymore, it's now just what I can get hold of on DVD.I'm currently working my way through Alias, SG:A and Spooks on DVD. Will & Grace will always have a place in my heart if only because becoming Mrs Karen Walker is my ultimate goal in life. Nearly there...

Books:

The list here is endless. If it's written by Neil Gaiman it's a guaranteed winner in my..book. I love The Old Kingdom Series by Garth Nix (At some point Touchstone will burst from the book and sweep me off my feet).Harry Potter of course must be on the list, though seriously JK what were you smoking when you wrote that epilogue to Book 7?

Heroes:

I have quite a few for a variety of different reasons, rather then listing them I invite you to ask me.I could talk about them for hours.

Vampyre

Here it is...my masterpiece, and I use the term very loosely, in it's present form, far from finished I might add. Stupid MySpaz wont let me put speech marks in, it just doesnt recognise them so I hav...
