When The Wax Poetics formed in late 2007, the intent was clear...to make quality music that bridges the gap between the club and the street. Drawing inspiration from mainstream pop artists such as Justin Timberlake, Timbaland & The Black Eyed Peas, as well as underground hip-hoppers such as Pigeon John, Mos Def & The Dilated Peoples - The Wax Poetics set out to infuse their love for the rawness of the underground and inject it into the popular mainstream.
