I live on and manage a horse farm in Crete, Illinois. Raced harness horses for many years and figured I would do that for my whole life. A serious racing accident basically ended my harness racing career. I love old-time music and have been playing clawhammer banjo for about 4 years now. I play in an old-time band called The Oxcart Ramblers. We also have a myspace page so please check us out. I have listened to all types of music throughout my life, but no other music has gotten into my blood like this has. I never thought I would be able to play any type of musical instrument but I think my love for this music has helped me to continue to learn the art of clawhammer. I am very new to myspace and I am trying to figure it all out. I will add to this about me section in the near future. :) ..
