In -88 young pimplefaces Kuisma and Teemu wanted to play really heavy shit. At those days there weren’t too many metalheads in their homeare but after little experiments Jykä (drums) and Jakke (guitar) got in. After several shows it was time to get fresh blood in (Hessu to guitar & Remmu to drums) and record first demo in January -90. After that band got to studio every now and then. Astaroth’s demos got quite good response through those years and band was featured in numerous underground and non-underground magazines. Astaroth did also EP for Holland label Teutonic Existence and same piece was also licenced to Wild Rags (USA). Our beatiful boys visited also abroad; one time in Sweden and Germany. Neat, huh?Astaroth’s last gig was in Provinssirock -96. Show was quite chaotic due some intoxications and for example Iggy Pop played at same time so it wasn’t too crowded either. Total War as we like it.During those "golden years" deathpatrol Astaroth mangled stages with these lovely chaps: Cryptic, God Forsaken, Stone, Barathrum, Spiritus Mortis, Naglfar, Slumgudgeon, Impulse, SCT, Radiopuhelimet, Stake, C.A.D., Valse Triste, Amor Committed Suicide, Klamydia and many many more.In -99 Kuisma and Teemu tought that "one more time baby" and found Tero (guitar) and Juha (drums) to continue the destruction. They did one promo in 2000 and after that Tero was replaced by Jaska. Quite soon after this paths separated for good.Next "comeback" is aimed when boys are near to having their fifties...So wait til then you warmongers!Discography:
