About Me

MY BLOG IS BACK UP!

Or view my page on Twitter!

I'm Ben Dyer and people tell me that I'm something of an odd duck. I suppose that's true. After all, I'm geeky enough to know who William Seward is, nerdy enough to hack up MySpace to make a profile featuring him and dorky enough to think all this is funny. You tell me if I'm an odd duck.

I married this woman and I'm real happy about that. They say nothing good comes out of MySpace. That's not entirely true. I reconnected with her thanks to MySpace, so I guess it can't be all bad.

I run my own web development company along with a friend of mine, ToSon BT . Don't go to the site though, it's old and needs work. That's what happens when you have clients: you don't have time to attend to your own needs.

You can find me at this church every Sunday. I'm in the media ministry and can usually be found in the director's chair, or sometimes behind a camera or doing whatever else needs to be done.

My Interests

Stuff I enjoy: Japanese anime, baseball (Go Rangers!), NASCAR (Go Tony Stewart!) and watching sports in general. I listen to lots of music (see below) and watch some movies and television. I read a lot these days, but my fianceé dwarfs me in overall reading speed. :)

I'd like to meet:

Various former United States Secretaries of State. Perhaps John Marshall, Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, William Jennings Bryan, Frank B. Kellogg and so on. Oh sure, they're all currently dead, but I don't want to let that stop me.

Who I wouldn't like to meet

Mostly former United States Secretaries of the Treasury, like Alexander J. Dallas, Salmon P. Chase or John G. Carlisle. Such dreadful bores those Treasury folks.

Oh, and former New York Governor Samuel J. Tilden.

Music:

I listen to just about everything.
