Ian Reid returned last year from almost seven years of teaching in Korea. In the time since his return he has recorded his second album called 'Tiger School' with Guelph folk icon James Gordon. The temptation to return to Asia is great, but he's resolved to stay here to write and perform... at least for another little while.
Ian has a simplicity to his lyrics and a way with people. His clear and very listenable voice conveys messages that are easy to relate to but not always easy to figure out. He often recalls his travels but his songs reflect sketches of life anywhere.
