Yo - I am Keef. I live in Edinburgh, working as a software peon and I keep my abode in the city centre, accompanied by a giant robot and an elite crew of trained dogs. I fear nothing but the words of Al Gore, the illusion of progress, and zombies.
On my own time, I do stuff with, listen to, think about and have in the past played, music - I try to go and see bands from the local scene when I can, of which there are a great many worthy of your attention.
A couple of years ago, I played drums in a few such bands - 8MWTD, Night Noise Team, Athens of The North, the Kirstyn Knowles Band; one or two of these are still going and sounding great, please check them out below. I've been out of commission for a while (RSI - be very, very afraid), but am hoping to make a gradual comeback and get my hand back in (no pun intended. argh!), so stay tuned. :)
Geek warning: I play Sabian Xs20 cymbals and a Tama maple snare, with BigDog pedals and hardware, and at home a Roland TD-12 v-drum kit and Vintage v950 Bass, into a small recording setup with an Alesis recording interface and M1 MKII monitors.
