I know, I said I would get beeter at this, but maybe now I actually will. I've uploaded some new photos, so take a look. We are just knee deep in training right now so we can get ready for deployment. Sometime this summer is all that I can say right now. Not trying to sound bad or anything, its just for our safety. Love you all.
This is what happens in jump school. This is everything that I went through. Enjoy!
Cavalry Scout's Final Inspection Written By: An unknown Cavalry Scout
The Scout stood and faced his God Which must always come to pass, He hoped his boots were shining Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Scout, How shall I deal with you?" "Have you always turned the other cheek?" "To My Church have you been true?"
The Scout squared his shoulders and honestly he replied, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't, Because those who live and die as a Scout Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work on many Sundays, And at times my talk was tough, And some times have called for violence, Because the world is awfully rough.
There were times when the Mission called for a position and a steady aim. And a bad man fell that day, and I never knew his name.
But, I never took a penny that wasn't mine to keep. I was honest with my share of the load, and at times there was little sleep.
Lord, We never passed a cry for help though at times we shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've cried some manly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here. I've never really fit in with this crowd, except to calm their fears.
If you have a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand, I never expected or had too much, But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was a silence all around the throne Where the Saints had often trod As the Scout waited quietly, For the judgment of his God.
God looked up from his book, with a gleam of a warrior in His eye. He proudly stared at His Scout for reasons only 'the few' know why.
"There is a special place I have set aside for tried and true. In fact there is a small group of Scouts already waiting for you."
"Step forward, now, you Scout, you've borne your burdens well. Walk in peace on Heaven's streets, You've done your time in Hell."
The Scout almost lost composure as he started to jump and shout. But instead he raised his arm to a salute, And said, "Lord God, Scouts Out."
