Given this worldview, it is perhaps understandable that the entire economy and lifestyle of Western Civilization came to be what it is. CONTINUED EXPLOTATION IS NOT SUSTAINABLE. THE CONTINUED WELL BEING OF HUMANS WILL DEPEND ON THE CONSERVATION OF WILD PLANTS AND ANIMALS AND THE PROTECTION OF AIR AND WATER. In short, the new view amounts to a paradigm shift from seeing humans as the center of things, free to ride over nature in any manner possible, to seeing humans as the caretakers of nature, intricately linked to it in life processes and global systems.****************************Everything is messed up!!! and thats why we must take care of each other!!!
