it's 1998. I'm in a band. We play all around the northeast. We think we're pretty hot. I work in a greasy greek restaurant run by a ridiculous man. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment with Brendan Bell (who appears below as johnny classic and the classic johns).
it's 2002. I work in a bakery/cafe. My band tours the country every year and is signed to a subsidiary of Warner Bros. I live in a tiny room with no ceiling in a warehouse with three other guys.
it's 2003. I work in a bakery/cafe. John Kelley (Johnny Track Pants) and I become good friends. We play music together.
it's 2004. Mr. Kelley and I are roommates. I go to nightschool to get a degree from URI. I do some road bike racing as a hobby. The band I was in barely exists, except to release the remainder of the material that we've written. We've poured so much of ourselves into this effort that it's hard to let go. I take the photograph for the cover of our second-to-last album in my livingroom (which involved carting buckets of dirt into my apartment and dumping it on the floor).
it's 2006. my roommate is Rob (who appears as Robert below). Robert is a good man, he can skip rope, he can break iron.
it's 2007. I go to law school. I've moved 3 times in the last year.
it's 2009, I live in Bklyn, again in a tiny room, this time with an extremely low ceiling. I guess I'm almost done with school; we'll see where that takes me.
