Mac Da General born and raised in Jamaica, I have alot of Musicians in my family so I had love for Music for as long as I can remember, when I was 13 years old I was in the clubs spinning with my older brother and cousins who had there own sound system, growing up I always thought I would become a DJ/Selector like my older Brother Omar and Cousin Cojo which I was very close to, we use to perform all over the country doing music, until I moved with my Mom and my Sister to another part of the country that was so bad with drugs that they called it little Columbia then I was doing other stuff more than making music, I still use to battle other people on the corner, here and there, I always been a good shit talker so that wasnt a problem for me... I had click called Benjamins Family there was 5ive of us Me, my best friend Squeeze, Tunky T, Mr. Cook, Scud Missile, me and Squeeze was more serious about the music shit than the others, Mr. Cook was a str8 pimp mad hoes was around all the time, Scud, and Tunky T was the hustler type 24 hours on the block type Niggaz, until Tunky T got shot by the police, so we start beefing with police heavy things got real hot so I descide to lay low for a minute so I had move to Houston Tx with my uncle and start writing more, the last words my home boy said to before I took flight was "You have a natural born talent" and "You should use it well" and "I want to hold your Album in my hand before I die" I spent two mounths Houston I had stop writing and str8 jammin to the late Fat Pat, Scarface, Mike D, the whole S.U.C until I did some bull shit then I hap to skip town again, then Hartford C.T. were I was back with almost all my peoples from Jamaica, I was there for like three mounths back on my bull shyt... one day I had gotten a phone call from a close freind that my best friend Squeeze was killed, after that everynight before I go to sleep I could remember Squeeze saying "Mac You have a talent use it well" then I chill with bull shit, and start putting more time in music... so respect what I do because I do it from the heart. ..
