My name is Scott Mercer and I am in independent musician. I have been writing and recording music for the past 2 years. I will soon release a self titled EP which will be available in disc and digital downloads including Itunes,Rhapsody, and many others. My music is uniquely stylized with influences from Jason Mraz,Sevendust,36 Crazyfists,and Lionel Richie just to name a few . The songs have strong and vivid lyrics with metaphoric images. The music makes much use of rythym and melody with a full, complete sound. I am extremely excited about this new project and performing again.I have been promoting my music by booking shows throughout North Louisiana and by distribution to stores and radio stations locally. I headed the band Zero Tolerence and The Dawn Phenomenon and have recorded two albums in these bands with Philanthropy Records in Carencro, LA. I am currently performing in Louisiana with hope to branch out across the US in 2009.
