About Me

Brian has been teaching privately for 17 years and has dedicated his career to music education. Since graduating from the Musicians Institute in 1989, Brian has published multiple books and DVD’s for Hal Leonard Publishing as well as conducting Clinics to promote his highly acclaimed teaching methods. Brian also plays professionally for various Artists in Nashville and L.A. and is a songwriter and producer as well. Brian is endorsed by GHS String Mfg.Brian formed two original band projects while in Los Angeles whom recorded and published CDs on FEMS and Metal Blade recording labels. He relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in May of 2003 and formed Apocalyptic Cowboys.Songwriter/Producer for Apocalyptic Cowboys. Brian Emmel's Credentials/Awards: John Lennon Songwriting Competition receives honorable mention in 2001. Wins NSAI Best Of Song Evaluation Service Award in 2002. CMT Songwriting Competition receives honorable mention in 2002. Signs with Rustic Digital Records in October of 2005. To date has signed 15 single song publishing contracts. Has twelve cuts with independent artists in the country music market. Places song in top 12 for 2006 on Rustic Digital Records. Places song in top 5 in VH-1's international Song Of The Year contest. Runner up in VH-1's SOTY for September.Available for clinics,private bass, guitar, and songwriting lessons.
