Superball started spinning in 97 in the Syracuse area at local club nights and raves. originally coming from a punk rock band playing the drums and bass, jungle/drum and bass just came naturally to him. In 98 Superball teamed up with a few other Syracuse djs and formed elite tribe, a crew that threw parties in the upstate rave scene until 2000. In the elite tribe, Superball met and teamed up with the local drum and bass talent and formed the Foot Souljahs, who threw drum and bass one-offs and also held Syracuse's first drum and bass weekly. In 2001 Superball moved to NYC were he and Dj Trunks started nycjngle.com. Together they showcased local NYC djs on weekly internet radioshows and also broadcasted live from parties such as Direct Drive and other monthly one offs. Superball is known for his diverse scratching and dancefloor selection, spanning from dark step, to ragga, to tunes that are upfront and upbeat. Superball is always connected to the crowd, selecting his music by the response of the dancefloor and not spinning previoulsy practiced sets. Through the years he has spun alongside talent such as Lyricists Lounge, Mickey Finn, Ray Keith, LTJ Bukem, E-sassin, Catchin-Wreck, Ruckus, Mystical Influence, Sniper, Q-bert, 187, Reid Speed, Odi, and many others to name a few. Currently living in Tampa, Superball is working on hip hop with a dash of UK Grime and dirty south influence. Mike 407 and some other talented emcees from around the east are coming together soon for some released tunes as well as some instrumentals up for game in the mixtape circuit.
