About Me

Common Interest - Politics Description: John Adams- "Colossus of the Revolution", and heartbeat of America's greatest Founding family. His cousin Samuel, wife Abigail, and son John Quincy defined the very best of America's revolutionary period. The John Adams Lovers of Liberty fellowship seeks to uplift Constitutional Authority and citizen responsibility in our affairs of governance, as well as to expand education and implementation of the best of our founding principles. To that end, we all calling upon all Lovers of Liberty to come together in the hardworking and conscientous spirit of John Adams, to build the nuts and bolts structure in which citizens may assume more effective self-government, and the increased freedom inevitably attendant wtih this level of responsibility. The basic organizing unit of this structure is the Congressional District, to emphasize our common American bond, and its' internal divisions into cities and zip codes. Our intention is a network of neighborhood based communicaitonsto address issues of safety, recreation, & public policy. We make no pretense to be without bias. We are aligned with values and views commonly held in groups self-described as part of the "Liberty", "Freedom", or "Constitutional" Movement. We enthusiastically reach across perceived lines of color and origin to stand shoulder to shoulder on the higher common ground of meaningful American citizenship and creations of God.On the latter, we acknowledge and embrace the deeply religious nature of nearly all the Founders, and respect the many official documents which commenced with the Declaration's recognition of "inalienable rights", endowed by the Creator. We welcome all faiths pledged to these principles. We staunchly support American sovereignty in respect to other nations. We favor the dismantling of "globalist" policies which fail to recognize the nation-state as the one institution dedicated to the welfare of its citizens, with America being uniquely positioned and blessed in this regard. We are firm in the conviction that the American people and American troops must never be subject to laws and powers beyond those accountable to the citizens within her borders. We therfore do not support policies made by supranational entities or treaties such as NAFTA or the proposed North American Union. We favor the Republic form of governance, within Constitutional constraints, and therefore oppose wars of foreign intervention, commercial adventurism, and policing the world, and all large scale actions not explicitly authorized by Congress with a declaration of war."Isolationist" is a slur employed by the disingenuous for employed in self-service. We feel it is our unavoidable duty to keep apprised of world affairs, with the utmost respect for the sovereign independence of nations. We seek alternatives to the failed Liberal policies instituted nearly a century ago in the Woodrow Wilson adminsitration. These include the Federal Reserve system, federal income taxation, foreign intervention without just cause, and crime-producing prohibitions.Likewise, we support strong laws to secure our borders and prosecute the exploiters of cheap foreign labor. We especially sympathize with our brothers and sisters from Mexico. We feel it is their duty to work for the transformation of Mexico into a just, free, and prosperous nation, which does not force them to flee into the U.S. seeking a livelihood while driving down our domestic wages.Above all, we seek to do our part in building a responsible, well-informed citizenry.
