To date, very little has been officially disclosed regarding the DMV's outspoken and enigmatic artist known as Say'Mo. In the mid 1990s, he was shot into recording music by his fellow rappers, and friends of his first group, Central Cell. Central Cell was formed from homies that lived in the same neighborhood and attended Oxon Hill High School, located in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Through experimenting with Go-Go bands and instruments, Say'Mo quickly became intrigued with music and destined to advance in the music industry. Say'Mo's very first time in a professional recording studio was in Capitol Heights, Maryland at what used to be Horizon Recording Studio. After a five hour time slot and the end result of seven original, valid, efficient, spontaneous, and respectable songs, Say'Mo knew he had to pursue his music career full throttle. After many years of diligence and good old fashioned hard work, Say'Mo's dedication, tenacity, and ambition has finally payed off. Now, amidst great anticipation, Say'Mo's debut release, "To Whom It May Concern" will finally see its wide release courtesy of renowned indie label Adversary Entertainment in conjunction with 4Pound Productions. A multitalented emcee and spoken word artist, photographer, graphic artist, writer, composer, producer, video director and editor, Say'Mo is truly a unique,multi-dimensional talent amidst a hip-hop landscape often criticized for its formulaic musical and at times demeaning lyrical content. With the exception of the likes of none, no other emcee offers such compelling, scathing and insightful commentary to revive the current state of hip-hop music and culture.
