Rick has been a presence in the Central New York music scene for decades. From 1984 to 1988 he was with local southern rock act Mad Jack before signing on with Kim Simmonds as a member of Savoy Brown. After 3 CD releases and tours of the U.S., Canada and Europe Rick returned to CNY and back into Mad Jack in 1992. In 1996 he became a member of Flat Face & the Shempdells and participated integrally in their two CD releases and shared in the Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY). Rick has also been active behind the scenes providing keyboard tracks on the studio recordings of Back Alley Boys, Dusty Pascal, The Barrigar Bros., Dan “Cato†Eaton and Randy Case. In his career he has shared the stage with Lonnie Brooks, Albert King, Albert Collins, James Cotton, Molly Hatchet, Johnny Winter, Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels Band, Foghat and Humble Pie. Rick now brings his considerable skills and experience to Lonesome Crow.
Dave, born the son of a country western vocalist, has been playing drums for upwards of 30 years. His credits include work with Onyx, Desire, YKK, Cry Wolf, The Slip, X-Cyter, as well as SAMMY Award winning Flat Dace & The Shempdells which included the successful release of 2 CDs of original music with the Shempdells. His career has seen him share the stage with such notables as Charlie Daniels Band and Marshall Tucker Band, Leroy Parnel, John Barry, David Lee Murphy, Jimmy Van Zant as well as the perennial Benny Mardones. Now he brings his hard driving rhythms to Lonesome Crow.
Dennis has been performing professionally on both guitar and vocal for the last twenty years. His career started in the early eighties in the capital district area of Albany, NY. In the mid- eighties he joined a nationally touring oldies show-band called Dé Ja Vü and stayed with that organization for several years. During that time he also played in the backing band for the Drifters. Upon returning to New York he worked as a solo acoustic act while also playing in a variety of original and commercial projects: Abraxas, Justus, Pictures, Network etc. In 1993 Dennis became a member of the regionally successful pop/cover band Taboo. Dennis packed up his belongings and made his way to Nashville, TN where he worked as a songwriter in a writer's corral on Printer's Alley before being called back to CNY. Dennis formed a commercial duo with fellow Taboo alumnus, vocalist Kim Fetters from late 1996 through 2001. The summer of 2002 he joined the acoustic rock group Robyn & the Rest. Dennis had been half of the regional acoustic duo act, Double Ds as well as appearing for periodic performances as lead vocalist for The Rhythm Monsters and Sharp Dressed Penguins. Most recently Dennis had become half of the duo Nightshift and half of the duo Chameleon before bringing his talents to Lonesome Crow.
Keith has been singing and playing guitar for all of his adult life. As the creative force behind the eclectic Country Gentlemen he honed his skills as a country vocalist. He has also been performing for the past several years as half of the popular acoustic duo Condor. Most recently Keith had plied his trade with the veteran rock act Crime Scene before bringing his impressive vocalist / front-man persona to Lonesome Crow.
Rick has been playing in the Central New York area for many years. He was a founding member of 200 Proof in the mid 80's. He has also played with Full Tilt. In 1996 he was with Moxie and also played with members of 70's pop sensation, America. From 1997 - 98 he was a member of Zut Nudi. Most recently Rick had been a member of southern rockers Whiskey Mae before signing on to bring his guitar chops to Lonesome Crow.
Mike has been a professional musician since 1980 playing in a number of Syracuse area bands including with Johnny Vegas from 1992 - 2000 which included a tour of the U.S. and Candada. While touring with Johnny Vegas Mike has shared the stage with the Goo Goo Dolls, Weezer, 10,000 Maniacs and The Barenaked Ladies. The band released 3 CDs and sold over 14,000 units with numerous tunes on made for tv movies & soaps. Most recently Mike had been a member of the 21st Century Cowboys before applying himself to Lonesome Crow.
