About Me

Originally from St. Louis, MO, I moved to Nasvhille, TN in July of 2003 to pursue my long-life dream of music. I grew up around music and have spent almost every weekend of my life since the age of six performing around my hometown, church, and travelling groups. I love to sing and perform, and have found my new love in songwriting. It's something about working with the emotion and the lyrics and trying to focus on chasing that perfect word or phrase to say what I want to say...it's amazing! I have recently had the opportunity to write with some incredible songwriters who have hits to their names. It has been an honor to learn and develop a great friendships with the amazing talent in this town.I signed with Hula Monkey Entertainment on May 25, 2007, and am looking forward to great things coming from that. Neal Thompson (my manager) and I will be working hard ogether for the next few months to plan for big things in 2008! Stay tuned...Other than music, I enjoy all of my very close friends and family. I miss my brother, Drew, and my parents in St. Louis more than they know. It's hard to walk away from everyone who has always been there to pursue this crazy dream of mine - but I'm blessed to have their continued love and support. I am a graduate from Southeast Missouri State University where I was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and created many great memories.Since moving to Nashville, I'd have to say some of the best times had have been heading to Broadway or Demumbreun Street to listen to good music and party with the great people that live in this town! Do you want to keep up-to-date with new events or shows...

Band Members: Me...and any of the wonderful musicians that I have sitting in with me!
Influences: I have so many influences - way too many to mention. I grew up listening to the sounds of Poison, Jon Bon Jovi, the Eagles, etc. I honestly never listened to country...until around 1988. During that year, I became a huge fan of Garth Brooks and his live performance. That is how I wanted to be on stage - wild and crazy! The rest is pretty much history. I started listening to country more and more and then started appreciating the older country as well. Today, I am still influenced by any good musician - country or otherwise - and try to learn from everything I hear or see.
Sounds Like:
Video Provided By FreeCodeSource.com That is a loaded question. I try not to sound like anyone else. I have been told I have a voice like this guy or that guy; but I really just try to do my own thing. I love the sound of Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Train, etc. ...and am probably influenced a bit by everyone I hear, but when I put my lyrics to music I hope they just come out sounding like my own thing.
