U2place

U2place.com came to life away back in December 1999 and it was called u2zone, at the beginning hosted by libero.it, digiland. The site was born simply for my (Rudy) amusement and passion, it was a place where i could collect texts and picture of u2 that I found in the web, organizing them in a dedicated site. In December 2000, with the continuous updating and the new web technologies used, it has been registered as u2place.com domain. In July- august 2001, after Turin’s concert, it changed route. after meeting Stefano (Las) in Dublin, during the slane castle performance a new, collaboration started in order to create a video-cd of the italian concert of the elevation tour. In February 2002 the first u2place forum was born, a place where registered people could take part in the free and no-profit distribution of the “Turin 2001” video-cd. In October 2004 the site has been completely renewed and improved in graphic and contents.By now it records more than 6500 members, among which at least 400 very active in our forum. In u2place forum you can find fans online 24 hours a day, and you can talk with them about u2 and not only! You’ll find many sections to discuss about live performances, albums, tours, and tribute bands; you’ll also find many persons that meet each other in various Italian cities just to be in merry company.
