This is…me! I’m 27 years old. After leaving high school in Sofia specializing in French and Russian, I then graduated from the Bulgarian National Academy of Music with opera singing, piano, acting, dancing and Italian. At present I’m working at the National Music Theater in Sofia. I have had several lead roles during my career in operettas (Countess Maritza, The Queen of the Czardas, The Duchess of Chicago) and musicals (Miss Saigon, Casanova, Four in Bed). In December 2007 I won First Prize in the National "Mimi Balkanska" Competition for Young Operetta and Musical Singers.
I have starred in five national advertising campaigns - for the mobile provider Vivatel, DSK Bank, Selamore Italian furniture, Kaliakra butter and the Nedelya pastry shop chain.
I have also had supporting roles in two feature films: La Fuga degli Innocenti (Italy, 2004) and L’Uomo della Carita (Italy, 2007); as well as supporting roles in Hannibal (BBC, 2006); The Abandoned (Spain, 2006); My Little Nothing (Bulgaria, 2006) and Lyudmil & Russlana (Bulgaria, 2007).
I also play the Evil Fairy X in the children's scientific series Stories about Physics and Astronomy FOR Bulgarian National TV.
What else about me... I specialize in stage dancing, and also very much enjoy classical dancing, tango and salsa. I've been playing the piano since I was six. I'm a blue belt in Shotokan karate-Do and have had firearms training. I enjoy horse riding and swimming.
